1) The bond strength of resin bonded diamond wheel is weak, so the self sharpening work can be good, it is not easy to block, high grinding efficiency, less grinding force, low grinding temperature, poor wear resistance, high wear of grinding tools, and unsuitable for heavy load grinding.

2) The wear resistance and combination of ceramic bonded diamond wheel are better than resin bond, with sharp cutting, high grinding efficiency, less heat and blocking, less thermal expansion, easy control accuracy, rough surface and high cost.

3) The metal bonded diamond wheel has high binding strength, good wear resistance, low wear, long life, low grinding cost and can bear large load, but it is poor in sharpness and easy to block.

4) The abrasive particle size has a certain influence on the wheel block and cutting quantity. Compared with fine sand, the wear of the cutting edge of the abrasive particles with large cutting depth increases, while the grinding wheel is easy to block.

5) The hardness of grinding wheel has a great influence on the blocking, and the high hardness wheel has high thermal conductivity, which is not conducive to the external heat dissipation, but it is conducive to improve the processing accuracy and durability.

6) The concentration selection of grinding wheel is an important feature, which has a great influence on grinding efficiency and processing cost. The low concentration affects the efficiency. On the contrary, the grinding particles tend to fall off, but the better concentration range of binder is also better.
