Because of the high hardness of stainless steel, the heat conductivity of cutting with saw cutter is low, which makes it more difficult to cut. Therefore, selecting the suitable saw blade and circular saw machine is the condition to reduce the cost of each knife:
1. Selection of metal circular saw cutter.
In the selection of cutting stainless steel saw blade milling cutter, it is suggested that chrome or nitriding treatment is preferred instead of titanium plated saw blade. There are often some manufacturers in the market to do steam plating with the sawblade with poor raw materials, but because of its poor saw blade itself, it fails to provide better cutting effect. Besides, after the evaporation plating, the steel plate is subject to heat deformation. The solution of a small number of industry is to make it flat by beating. However, when the saw blade is used for cutting again, deformation occurs again after heat. Because the striking can only keep the shape of the saw blade for a short time, it can not last.
The plasticity and durability of stainless steel are very large. The cutting chips are continuous during the car processing, which not only affects the smooth operation, but also crush the machined surface and simply stick to the saw blade, so it is embarrassing cutting material. The chrome plated saw blade is designed for stainless steel characteristics, and the cutting effect is good. In addition, tooth shape is also one of the important factors affecting cutting effect. Therefore, when purchasing saw blade, please remember to indicate whether it is used for cutting stainless steel. In this way, it can be different when opening teeth and grind out special tooth shape of stainless steel. Don't think that the blade is hard is good, let alone titanium plated saw blade can be cut all materials.
2. Selection of metal circular saw.
Based on our years of industry experience, generally speaking, it is recommended to select 300 or more models. The power of the machine is too small, which can affect the service life of metal circular saw and even saw blade. Like a child carrying a bucket of water, it can move, but it is far fetched, low power, and simple injury.
3. Selection of cutting speed.
Cutting speed: when machining stainless steel, the cutting speed is slightly increased, the cutting temperature will be much higher, the tool wear will be intensified, and the durability will decrease greatly. In order to ensure the reasonable tool durability, cutting speed should be reduced, generally selected according to 30% ~ 50% of the general carbon steel turning. The cutting speed depends on the type, cross-section and toughness of the workpiece being cut. The materials with stronger resistance should be selected with slower speed. The smaller the cross section of the workpiece, the faster the speed is selected. On the contrary, the larger the section, the slower the available speed, the larger the cut-off pressure is required.
4. Select cutting fluid and cooling method.
Because of the difficulty of stainless steel cutting, it has higher requirements for the cooling, smoothness and cleaning functions of cutting fluid. The commonly used cutting fluid has the following types:
1) Oil, spindle oil and other mineral oil: it has good smooth function, but poor cooling and permeability, and is suitable for outer round fine car.
2 vegetable oil: vegetable oil, soybean oil, etc., with good smooth function, suitable for screw thread, reaming, tapping and other processes.
3) Emulsion: it has better cooling and cleaning functions. It also has certain smooth effect, which can be used for stainless steel rough car.
In the process of cutting, the cutting fluid nozzle should be aligned to the cutting area, or high pressure cooling, spray cooling and other cooling methods should be selected.
4) Vulcanized oil: it is a cutting oil with sulfur as the extreme pressure additive. It can form high melting point sulfide on the metal surface during cutting, and it is not easy to damage at high temperature, and has excellent smooth effect and certain cooling effect. It is suitable for general turning, drilling, reaming and tapping.
