The hot cutting saw is mainly made of manganese steel or tungsten steel, According to different cutting materials, cold cutting saw has two options: high speed hacksaw blade (HSS) and inlaid saw blade (TT).

1、 Selection of high speed steel and inlaid saw blade

One of the conditions to judge whether high-speed hacksaw blade or inlaid saw blade is the tensile strength of pipe material, and the other is the size of pipe. Generally, the cutting size is small and the tensile strength is not large. For example, the common Q235 / Q195 and other common carbon steel materials are high-speed hacksaw blades. Cutting tensile strength is greater than a certain range, or relatively large size of the pipe, generally use inlaid saw blade.

2、 Types of high speed hacksaw blades

According to the different tooth types, the high-speed hacksaw blades mainly have groove teeth (BR), high and low teeth (Hz) and left and right teeth (BW), which can be used for cutting pipes of different materials and sizes in a certain range.

3、 Factors affecting saw blade cutting

The main factors affecting the cutting effect and service life of the saw blade are the selection of the saw blade, the stability of the equipment, the setting of the cutting parameters, the fluctuation of the production line speed, the grinding process, the saw blade coating and so on. If the above factors can be controlled correctly and effectively, the cutting effect and service life of the saw blade will be well guaranteed.
