Diamond Saw Blade Technology

Diamond saw blade is mainly composed of two parts; Matrix and tool head. The matrix is the main support part of the bonding tool head.

The cutter head is the cutting part in the use process, the cutter head will be used and constantly consumed, while the matrix will not, the cutter head can play the role of cutting because it contains diamond, diamond as the hardest material, it in the cutter head friction cutting object. Diamond particles are encased in metal inside the blade.

Process classification:

1. Sintered diamond saw blade: cold pressing sintering and hot pressing sintering two kinds, pressed sintering.

2.Welding diamond saw blade: brazing and laser welding two kinds, brazing is through high temperature melting medium welding head and matrix together, such as high-frequency induction brazing saw blade, vacuum brazing saw blade, etc.; By laser welding, the contact edge of the cutter head and the matrix is melted by high temperature laser beam to form metallurgical bonding.

3.Electroplating (brazing) diamond saw blade: the tip powder is attached to the matrix by electroplating method. Since 2012, the country has gradually cancelled the production of electroplated diamond products, mainly because of serious pollution.
